Are you an Arizona songwriter?  If so, YabYum Music is hosting a contest for the 2010 Best "Summer" Song!  Think you've got the winning hit?  We'll announce the winner on August 1st at YabYum Music complete with a list of your upcoming shows for the month so all our readers can hear the winner live! The winner will also receive a day of studio time with the Valley's only super-fabulous Pyramix Studios so you can professionally record your winning song (or your next winning song)!!
To Enter:  Well, we need a way to hear your song.  Our preferred method of achieving this is to just have you send us an MP3 of the track but you can also send us an online location (such as MySpace) where we can check it out!  Be sure to include the track title and your (or your band's) name!

Summer Song Contests seem a little absurd in this place but we are trying to be positive about the heat this time 'round.  We're thinking pool parties, late-night drives (to avoid the sun), and daytrips to cooler locales.  We want the song for those moments.  Send us that one.
